I have been wearing Ryka's for many years and I love them. I also love how RYKA came about. Awesome story. The Women's fEMPOWER Defiance Walking Shoe is my favorite to date.

No wide width
I always wear RYKA shoes. I rely on them for their large selection of wide width shoes. Seems they forgot to make all these new styles in fempower in a wide width!

Returning. Too big.
Super cute. They run big. All my running sneakers are a 6.5 and I bought the same size. Way too big. My feet slid around constantly while walking in them. My legs ached all night after the day I wore them..... I LOVE the colors though. Will be returning them.

Not as comfortable as other Ryka models
I want to start this review by saying that I love Ryka shoes. I have been wearing them since I was 14 years old (and that's a long long time ago now). They are THE most comfortable walking shoes that I have ever put on my feet. The Defiance model however, is not very comfortable to walk in for any length of time. They don't have the support that my other Ryka shoes have had and they begin to be very uncomfortable in the forefoot area. I really tried to love them as much as others that I have purchased but I just couldn't come around with these. Try other models of Ryka - not these.
